Here’s what we will do in the session
This isn’t a livestream or a class. It’s a real in-studio session in one of Amsterdam’s finest studios Londam – with proper acoustic treatment and top-tier monitors.
You’ll send your track ahead of time. During the workshop, we’ll:
-
Listen together in the room
-
Show you exactly what could be improved
-
And explain how to do it in your own session, step by step
We’ll go deep into:
-
Mix balance
-
EQ and compression
-
Gain staging and stereo width
-
How to keep your low end tight and clear
Also, you’ll hear before-and-after examples that show what real improvement sounds like.
Our expertise, your hard work
If you’re here, you’re probably sitting on a track that is 90% done. The sound design is almost there, the arrangement kind of works, but… something’s off.
You tweak the EQ, try another plugin, maybe even ask a friend what they think—and get a safe “sounds cool” response.
Let’s skip the guesswork.
We would like to invite you to our workshop in Amsterdam! It is for producers who want their tracks to actually sound good in a venue. You will hear your track in a pro studio, get honest feedback from certified audio engineer, and walk out with clear next steps to finally finish your music.

About instructors

Michal Basar – producer, mixing engineer & founder of Plugin Music
Michal is a techno producer, mixing engineer, and the founder of Plugin Music. His role is simple but crucial: helping producers make better mixes—before they ever hit the mastering stage.
Michal’s specialty is mixing and mentoring—cleaning up your sound, improving clarity, tightening the low end, and preparing tracks properly for mastering. He also trains other producers in how to build a professional mixdown that holds up on real sound systems.
He collaborates closely with Mattias Fridell, a great mastering engineer who handles Plugin Music’s mastering work—so he knows exactly what mastering engineers want (and don’t want) in a mix.
“My goal is to help you hear your track with clarity and confidence. If it’s muddy, I’ll tell you. If it’s sharp, I’ll help you smooth it. This workshop is about showing you how to actually fix things.”
Michal has released on Northallsen Records, and has an upcoming EP on Affin Series. His DJ sets, featuring his own productions, have been published on the Hypnus Records YouTube channel, known for its high-standard curation of hypnotic techno. He also runs Arnaca Records – a Raw and Hard Techno record label and has been working for Triple Vision record distribution back in the days.

Skenna – producer, DJ & founder of Studio Londam
Jeffrey, aka Skenna, is a producer and DJ based in Amsterdam, and the mind behind Studio Londam, where this workshop takes place. It’s a space he built to create, share, and invite other producers into a proper listening environment—with tailored acoustics and serious sound.
As a music producer, Skenna blends deeper and atmospheric shades of techno with elements of breakbeat and house. His tracks have been released on labels like Future Avenue or Manual Music, and he’s known for productions that balance emotion with groove.
He also co-founded Londam Records together with London-based artist Riigs, as a home for forward-thinking electronic music and collaborations that cross scenes and borders.
